A Letter to Love...

Dear Love,

We like You,

Need You,

And honour you.

But we sometimes think

You’re a dictator,

For You come by surprise,

And uninvited,

You also have the keys

To all doors,

And you simply open them,

Without having the courtesy to knock

Your manners could be questioned,

And, for sure, improved

Also, you expect us to serve you right away.

It is true that, when it is God ordained,

It simply must be this way,

Unsettling,

Unapologetic,

Challenging the status quo,

And insolent.

For You are made to induce change,

Disrupt our criteria of what is good or bad,

Of what should be, or shouldn’t

You are sent to destroy our beliefs,

And teach us Surrender,

Humility,

Necessity,

And Vulnerability

So please, could you come along

With Angels also,

To guide us and make it smooth,

For we truly want to believe in the impossible,

And You know society will be against us,

So, send us Knights for protection,

Light for clarity,

Fire for will,

Patience for Faith,

And Faith for Patience,

For we do love you, Love….

A story about innocence...

It is being said

That some stories are so old,

That only the stars carry them...

It happened during a time when men & women

Would talk to God about EVERY matter of life,

When to sow and when to harvest,

When to leave a land, or when to stay,

Who to marry, and how to name their children.

And a woman of God would believe in ANYTHING

Like having a baby at 85 years old

She would enter the colourful rainbow of infinite possibilities

Whose owner is only God.

But...

When the man she loves would stay in the friendzone for too long,

She would begin to doubt,

Her earthly logic and powerful survival instinct would creep in,

And make her spiral down

Back to the very unfortunate tree of knowledge,

And word of men,

Where cases that once belonged to rainbows disappear...

Some of these women still live in our neurotic modern times,

They don't know how to handle grey zones,

For they haven't learned how to "play", or "flirt",

Or be "half open",

Nor are they interested.

For them, it is either everything or nothing,

So they leave the scene, for Survival,

And sometimes carry the rainbow inside, secretly...

Compassion for animals...

Why do we always choose the verses that lead to misery instead of the ones that lead to peace? Just like slavery and the inquisition before us, we repeat history thinking we know better...

1. Genesis 1:29–30 – God's Original Diet

“Then God said, ‘Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed... and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. And to every beast of the earth... I have given every green herb for meat.’”

• Context: Before the Fall, both humans and animals were plant-based eaters.

• Message: God’s original intention was a world without killing, even among animals.

2. Hosea 2:18 – A Covenant with Animals

“In that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field... and I will abolish the bow, the sword, and war from the land...”

• Context: God's promise of peace.

• Message: A future where peace extends to animals.

3. Daniel 1:8–16 – Choosing Plant-Based Food

Daniel refuses the king’s meat and chooses vegetables and water, and is found healthier and wiser.

• Context: A spiritual and moral decision.

• Message: A plant-based diet is associated with clarity, purity, and divine favor.

4. Isaiah 66:3 – God Rejects Animal Sacrifices

“He who kills an ox is like one who kills a man... They have chosen their own ways.”

• Context: God denouncing empty ritual.

• Message: Violence against animals is equated with violence against humans when hearts are corrupt.

5. Ezekiel 34 – God Condemns the Exploiters of the Flock

“You eat the fat, you clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fatlings, but you do not feed the flock... I myself will search for my sheep and look after them.”
(verses 3–4, 11)

• Context: God is rebuking the leaders of Israel who have abused and neglected the people under their care, likened to a flock of sheep.

• Message: While symbolic, the passage uses literal language of slaughtering, consuming, and exploiting animals to condemn selfish domination. Many see this as an indictment of all exploitative systems—spiritual and physical—including how humans treat animals for personal gain.

• Spiritual Lens: God is the true shepherd who protects, heals, and seeks the lost. This vision of divine care contrasts sharply with human systems of violence and consumption.

Suffering as Art

Isn't there something deeply disturbing about watching photos of suffering in an exhibition?

An almost aestheticized voyeurism of pain, 

Turned into conversation pieces for the privileged that is almost obscene?

It can feel morally off to walk through rooms of curated agony,

Photos of displacement, war, famine, trauma, and then step out into the sun to sip coffee and discuss “impact” or “composition.” 

The people in those images don't get to walk away. Their pain isn’t an exhibit. It’s daily life.

There must be a refusal to turn real life into performance, or use empathy as a self-image.

Not turning away from sufferingm, but refusing to exploit it, or to be comforted by our own sensitivity to it. 

The opposite is also true, a tender, empathetic, noble, giving and light heart shouldn't be shared with a croud,

But given in a sacred way to the people who can welcome it with reverence.

Why is locked-in eye contact so common in New Age spirituality?

In many New Age or neo-spiritual circles, sustained eye contact (sometimes called soul gazing) is practiced as a tool for:

Generating artificial intimacy very quickly

Breaking down ego defenses (the idea is: stare long enough and the "false self" dissolves)

Activating altered states of consciousness, sometimes triggering trance-like or emotional responses

Projecting one’s energy or “seeing” into someone else, claiming a kind of mystical access to the other’s inner being

What’s really happening?

In many cases, it becomes a performance of depth — an intensity that mimics spiritual connection but is often unearned, unsafe, or manipulative.

Here’s why it can feel invasive:

It overrides boundaries: True intimacy takes time, trust, and consent — this short-circuits all three.

It creates emotional vulnerability without context or protection.

It can be used to exert dominance, especially by those who claim spiritual authority ("I can see into you").

And the worst part?

It often feels like being known, but isn’t. It’s exposure without love.

What’s missing from this practice?

God.

Reverence.

Humility.

Consent.

True love that waits to be invited in.

In contrast, in Christ-centered spiritual spaces:

Eye contact is gentle, respectful, often brief and warm, not piercing or trapping.

True knowing is not taken — it is revealed in time, through mutual trust and divine timing.

The gaze of God — and of those who carry His Spirit — comforts, rather than invades.

A PRAYER FOR THE IN-BETWEEN 

God of Truth and Tenderness, You know I did not make this vision. It came to me with beauty, with stillness, with a kind of love that no effort of mine could invent. And so I gave it back to You—not to abandon it, but to say: "Let it be born only if it is Yours." Now I stand in the in-between. Not grasping. Not running. But also not shrinking into what is not meant for me. If there is something I am afraid of— show me gently, without shame. If I am holding too tightly— loosen my grip with peace, not punishment. Help me not to fill the empty spaces with false comforts. And help me not to reject Your answer if it comes in a form I didn’t expect. I choose to remain awake. I choose to protect what is sacred. And I trust that You are still leading me, even when the road is silent. 

Amen.

God of the Dark Night of the Soul, 

Of the Excruciating Death of the Ego,

Of the Crushed Ones, the Lonely, the Forgotten, the Ones hidden in silent pain,

God, I’m done waiting quietly.

I have obeyed. I have surrendered. I have stripped myself down to the bone for You.

And now I am telling You what You already know:

I can’t bear another day in this silence.

You see me—don’t pretend You don’t.

You watched me cry in bathrooms, walk alone through cities, hold visions I didn’t ask for.

You let me feel everything—and now You give me nothing?

Why stir this ache in me, if You weren’t going to answer it?

Why give me glimpses of love, home, calling—if I’m just meant to rot in waiting?

I am not faithless. I am furious with faith.

So I’m saying this now:

MOVE.

If You are who You say You are, then show me.

If You are a God of love, then act like it.

If I am Yours, then do not leave me like this.

I am not backing down.

I will scream, I will walk, I will refuse to pretend I’m okay.

You’ve made Yourself my only hope—

So now I hold You to it.

Move. Break. Speak. Open.

Do something.

Because I won’t stay silent anymore.

I won’t lie in this grave You haven’t claimed.

I am Yours. Now You come for me.

God of deep waters and quiet shores,

Thank you for the slow and sacred way You’ve written into me.

I am not meant to rush, to fight, or to chase.

Like the turtle, I carry my sanctuary within.

My strength is silent. My journey is long. My soul is faithful.

I trust the invisible currents beneath me.

I trust the vision You planted — of peace, of love, of a home filled with grace.

I do not build it with effort, but with presence.

When I feel small or unprotected, remind me:

Even soft ones grow shells.

Even ancient ones return to the shore, and the tide knows their name.

I give You my pace. I give You my longing.

I offer back the vision You gave me —

not as demand, but as devotion.

Let me be a quiet teacher, a shelter, a deep well.

And when the time is right,

bring the ones who belong.

A Prayer for the Sea Turtles (and the Tender-Hearted)

God of the great deep,

and of all fragile things,

You who made the oceans swirl,

and placed soft-shelled lives into the hands of waves

I lift up the sea turtles to You.

They are ancient and innocent,

gentle and defenseless,

like small pieces of Your wisdom wrapped in silence.

I do not understand why they are born

into danger,

into struggle,

into a world that does not make it easy to survive.

But I do understand this:

You made me notice.

You let me care.

And that is already a holy beginning.

So I offer this prayer:

For the hatchlings — that they may reach the sea.

For the seas — that they may remain a home, not a trap.

For those who walk the beaches — that their steps be kind.

And for myself — that I may protect what is small,

and carry this tenderness like a light in a hardened world.

Let no love be wasted.

Let no creature be unseen.

Let even the most defenseless life be held in Your care —

and in ours.

Amen.

Fear, Anger & Scarcity, are not the opposite of Love, they are the absence of it. 

They represent the altered state of consciousness that stems from survival & disconnection from the Divine, not the original state of consciousness given to us by God, which is pure Love.

In life, you can be yourself and create something, or react to your surroundings. If you choose the latter, you will always be bothered and triggered by many things, you will be loud and have the urge to comment or even fight with the things around you. The other possibility is to choose to be yourself and forge your own path, create something unique and new, regardless of who or what is around.

A woman is in her masculine energy when she has been hurt, not one, but several times. She has made herself independent, she can work, travel, exercise, relocate, cook and take herself out....but once she knows she can trust a man, she will be able to finally relax in her feminine energy.

There's absolutely no love that can be shared if one is a captive and the other one is free. When dolphins swim with us in a pool, or come close to us while in a tank, this isn't love. Meeting them in their natual wild habitat is the only way to share something genuine with them. The same goes for any other human or non-human being. Please be kind and responsible and don't go to places where animals are being used. 

When one sits beside the most oppressed souls, who cannot speak for themselves, like animals, or children, and one relieves, even simply one of them from despair, one feels like the richest person on earth, no doubt about it, specially when these souls cannot pay one back.

This, I think, is the only way to truly  shine.

When we don't go deeper, we'll always need lots of activities, people and "stuff" to flee away from what is contained there, in that deeper space...

One day, God asked: " do you want Life to become easier, happier, smoother and more peaceful? We heard ourselves reply confidently: "yes, of course". But then God said: " Are you sure you are ready? Because it seems to me, that you have become addicted to complications, sadness and effort, and I can't act if you are focused on the negative side, for whatever reason that was, and still is.

We found ourselves realizing that it was true, we had, indeed, become used to misery and could not open the door to the sweet and blissful opportunities God was sending our way, because we simply could not SEE them. We asked HIM to help us see the "good as good" and the "bad as bad", and not confuse the two. We also asked HIM to not allow us to be led astray again, and be able to enjoy the sweetness of a light breeze, for there is nothing boring or ordinary about Life.

When people/situations set you free, you may feel so good that you may want to rush back to them, DON'T. The open door is for you to walk through it, NOW. You can always revisit "the old" later on, once you've followed your calling.

Why? Because "people pleasing" may get you very far away from "home".

Being open minded is sometimes another way of saying "not knowing what you want", or being lost. When you're focused, you don't need to be open minded.

Empathy is to go down where the suffering is, putting ourselves in an uncomfortable position to help others.

Compassion is to remain at a high, bright and positive vibration to allow others to "come up '.

Faith is simple & Direct. Religion complicated & burdens with hierarchy. "The Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like children". No kid likes to go to church...

Healing can occur only in a society that does not see criminals and victims, for there are only victims".

"Ad impossibilia nemo tenetur". A Latin phrase that means "Nobody must keep a commitment to do impossible things".

The problem with being too strong is that one can put up with "a lot", coming from others, or from life's circumstances. One can stay longer in unacceptable situations. It is a great disservice for "one Self" and others.

​Often, what stands between you and your happiness is your own strength.

Organized religions teach us that the part of us that doesn't like or want something is the part to be ignored. Intolerance is precisely to do so.

One single minute of worry will not cancel any of tomorrow's challenges, but ruin entirely today's peace of mind and relationship with God.

It is no wonder that the Romans, ancient Greeks & Egyptians believed that the forests, the seas & the oceans had a spirit & a life of their own, for it is enough to witness the behavior of one angry sea to hold such beliefs.

Maybe they do have a spirit of their own, while obeying & bowing to the One, Higher Spirit.

Yet, whatever the theory, the ocean, with all its might and greatness, surrenders gently at the feet of our weakness when we oblige it with a visit at its shores. Its waters land softly on our ankles, when it could crush us with one single wave.

Whether we honor it or not, dump our plastic in it or not, it still treats us gently, sparing us from its wrath.

What greater nobility & generosity could we ever ask for, or expect?

Sometimes, it is easier to think about God as something more "relatable".
A tree, for instance, is steady and faithful in its power, magnificence & presence. Whether someone looks at it or not.
During sunny days, it will always provide shade and cool from the heat, and during the rest of the days, calm, relaxation and peace of mind, away from the noise and stress.
That will always be available, whether we're having a good or bad day. 
The tree will always, always be there and never fail us, unless, of course, it is destroyed by human beings. 
Maybe this can be seen as a glimpse of God's presence and promise to the world. HE is always there, it is often us who don't go and visit HIM. 
HE is unchanged, reliable and loyal, just like the tree...we can sit under it and acknowledge its power and beauty, or forever pass by... without noticing anything.

Life is a CHOICE, every step of the way, every single minute of every single day. I can choose my thoughts, my visions, my behavior, my feelings, my beliefs, the people I hang out with, the person I wish to be. THIS is what shapes my Life, not the surroundings.

Freeing the mind from limiting beliefs is freeing the body from shackles, so one can move freely, graciously and powerfully, get one's creativity back, and start again, on the path that was meant for us.

This is done through information and education. Challenging one's views of the world and breaking the layers of fear and limitations.

It is disempowering to LOOK FOR people and things outside of oneself for attention, validation and care.

Once the respect for oneself and the abundance of self-love are restored, the rest can flow naturally.  One needs to FOCUS on oneself, one's goals and visions.

We do not seek perfection but wholeness. This can be done only if we integrate the qualities of our shadow self.

Less is more. Especially for empathetic people, who pick up on others' emotions, beliefs and behaviour.

Less is more. More focus, more connection with one's core values and beliefs, more alignment with one's needs and aims. This is an extremely hard work to do for some of us, who have been used to be triggered constantly and to respond to those triggers unconsciously, until one is led very far away from home... Not knowing, sometimes, how to get back.

For those highly sensitives and chameleon people out there, the job of going inside, getting rid of distractions and endless duties, simplifying life as much as possible, is not only necessary, but absolutely crucial.

If you feel lost, numb, not able to see clearly, this might be what you need to do.

Seeing is not looking outside, it is connecting with the inside of you, specially through the care of the body, so you can get your life back on track,  be grounded, feel alive again, and part of something.

What else can I do, other than sit at the shore of a river, under a tree, or on top of a hill, far from the noise, and wonder about this Amazing Life I have been given...

...before it goes away, and I have not felt it flow through my veins,  connecting me to everything and everyone around me.
